JUX Katsu Curry Sauce
This silky, golden katsu curry sauce is incredibly simple to make using JUX Carrot, JUX White Onion, and JUX Garlic — just simmer, blend, and serve over your favourite protein, veg, and rice.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 4 tbsp JUX Carrot
- 2 tbsp JUX White Onion
- 1 tbsp JUX Garlic
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 500 ml stock
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp honey
Method:
- In a saucepan, combine all of the ingredients and leave to simmer on a low heat for approximately 15 minutes, or until the carrots are soft.
- Use an immersion blender to blend the sauce into a smooth, thick consistency.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper and enjoy with your choice of protein, veg, and rice!
